Woman Buys Ad Space at Boyfriend’s Regular Lunch Place to Let Him Know He’s Being Dumped on Valentine’s Day

Getting dumped on Valentine's Day. Happens to the best of us.

But Dan must have been the absolute worst to deserve such a public flogging from his former sweetheart Laura.

"To get dumped is bad enough," says Jordan Wilson, who reportedly spotted the sign at an Esso garage in Manchester. "But the humiliation of seeing it displayed at your local petrol station is just one step too far."

The Sun says Laura picked the place because she knows Dan buys his lunch there.

Buying space on the Amscreen digital billboard probably didn't set her back too much, considering a month-long ad costs around £100 ($155).

And the look on Dan's face was no doubt priceless.
