A GREASY spoon in Birmingham is offering customers a gut-busting Christmas dinner sandwich.
The festive feast features Turkey and all the trimmings you'd expect to tuck into on Christmas Day packed inside a giant long loaf. The six pound eight-layered merry monster is the brainchild of Dominic Riley and Richard Hollis, owners of the B.E.S.T Cafe.
It includes potatoes, sprouts, six carrots, six parsnips, eight sausages wrapped in bacon, a kilo of turkey, a box of stuffing, and a jar of cranberry sauce.
And that's not all... included in the £15 deal are a giant mug of tea and a family-sized Christmas pud for afters.
Cafe boss Dominic, 29, said: “We wanted to make a good challenge with food and so we thought we would do a twist on the traditional Christmas dinner.
“It takes around two hours to prepare with all the prep involved so people need to order it in advance and there’s the pudding and tea to have with it.
"Christmas is about eating a lot and this butty will make sure anyone is stuffed."
There's a special incentive for hungry customers with a huge appetite - anyone who can polish off the giant snack in under 45 minutes wins a free bacon butty every week for a year.
Customers have queued up to take on the challenge, but so far no-one has managed to leave their plate clean.
